Single vineyard
Produced in limited quantities from our best, estate-grown vineyard blocks, our Single Vineyard wines are a true expression of Mount View terroir, combining elegance with excellent concentration of fruit flavour. These wines are the pinnacle of our range and are only made when the vintage year has delivered optimum growing conditions.

Ampelus wines
Ampelus; (Latin) a personification of the grapevine and lover of the god of wine, Dionysus. These wines extend this embodiment back to the bottle, reflecting traditional techniques and the vineyard in which they are grown.

Showcasing classic Hunter Valley wine styles, our Signature wines are crafted as a tribute to legendary Hunter winemaker, Karl Stockhausen. Karl has been a staunch advocate for us and our region for decades so we dedicate these wines to him.

Duck Duck Bull
The Duck Duck Bull range is a playful off shoot label from Briar Ridge that draws upon our three distinct vineyard sites.
The Duck Duck refers to the Hunter Valley and Orange in NSW while the Bull is the odd one out being from Wratonbully in SA. These are everyday drinking wines designed for pleasure and best enjoyed with great food and even better company.
Obiter Dictum
Jaclyn Davis’s ‘Obiter Dictum’ range of wines is a reflection of her passion for winemaking, her family’s legacy, and her fingerprint in the world of wine.
Celebrating our vigneron's two great passions - wine & the law. Inspired by the dichotomy between real life and the idiosyncrasies of the law, these are fun wines that keep approachability and modernity in mind whilst staying nuanced and versatile.
The name ‘Obiter Dictum’ itself implies a thoughtful and deliberate approach to winemaking. In legal terms, “obiter dictum” refers to an incidental remark or observation made by a judge that is not essential to the decision but may provide insight or guidance.
Similarly, Jaclyn’s ‘Obiter Dictum’ range is her personal expression and contribution to the wine industry, offering something unique and insightful beyond the conventional.
